The giving of the Ten Commandments is one of the most well known events in Christianity. Yet, throughout history, many Christians have mistakenly viewed the Commandments as conditions for God’s acceptance, or as some type of admissions test to get into heaven. But why did God really give these laws, and how can we apply them to our lives today?
